New Pan & Rotate, Drain System Available
Our new Main Line tractor system features a Pan and Rotate head with 10 times Zoom lens, a powered rewind reel with 200 metres of kevlar reinforced cable and a built in sonde.
The control
box is PC powered, with a large 15” LCD screen and DVD writer
so that the latest software can be used to create outstanding video surveys
burnt on to a DVD disc. This system allows the operative to control the
tractor completely and to review defects by zooming in and panning round
or rotating to get the best view. With the “Creep” facility,
the tractor can be moved behind the defect to really get the best possible
image.
The
two extra sets of wheels will give the tractor the height to go over small
obstacles and cope with tighter spaces, the pneumatic set are for much
larger pipes and will enable the tractor to drive over most solid obstacles.
Spacers can be used with wheels to set the tractor above any flow level
and keep the camera head close to the centre of the pipe at all times.
The
motor is powerful enough to pull the full 200 metres of cable with the
largest wheelset. Most other tractors run out of steam around the 150
metre mark, so do check these points when deciding what's best for you.
